Amsterdam Photos p2

Julia biking

English Church

This is a little community where you live if you're a woman associated with the church, or a woman who is receiving help from the church, or whatever. I'm not exactly sure how one explains that in English.

This is the best darn apple pie I have ever eaten ever oh gosh.

Chicken on the BBQ, thank you Joris

Wow big mushrooms at the farmer's market

Fancy sausage yum

The Musuem-castle thingy

I AMsterdam, backwards because wayyy too many people on the otherside for a decent picture.

Riding my bike through the middle of the museum, cool.

Boat tour!

This is cool because if you look closely you can tell that that building is totally falling over. (Because all the old buildings are built on wooden supports because obviously the ground isn't so strong, and over time the wood rots and the buildings warp/tilt. Also some buildings are built purposely leaning outward,  for the purpose of lifting furniture in through the windows)

These are the back of carts at the market, showing what the market looked like about 100 years ago.

The river Amstel

Old warehouse

Bridge bridge bridge

The oldest houseboat in Amsterdam (something like 100 years old)

The Dancing Houses. See earlier comment about why all the buildings are tilty.

Said our boat driver to the man throwing bread in the river "are you stupid, you know those things poop!"

While taking this picture I was afraid of my phone being stolen so this is my one crappy picture of china town.

Biking at night

The end.
